how much I love hula hoops? Is is a color filled love affair. I find myself, from time to time while standing on the packed subway with a bunch of huge glitter taped rings slung over my shoulder and everyone on the carriage starring at me, wondering how this all came about. I also wonder why I am in an extreme minority with my hoop love. Why isn’t everyone walking around with colorful circles resting on their shoulders? Can you truly appreciate what a glam filled and peaceful world it would be if that were the case?
I have come to love and appreciate the power of the hoop so much that not only is it my daily mission to share the hoop love through classes and park hoop ups but I also have a house filled with glittering circles of love.
The Summer of Love truly is upon me and manifested very rapidly, thanks to the nimble fingers and wicked styling of the one and only Bunny Hoop Star (who by the way is currently in the Australian outback probably decked out, head to toe in sequins and glitter having hoops flung onto her body by Sydney queens. Does life get any better?)
No sooner had I said, “Giveth me sparkling rings of joy and I shall shareth them with the Tokes peeps!” and Bunny and her trusty troop of Hoopaholics down in their hoop workshop in Sydney had me all sorted out. Not only did they whip up a complete range of HOOPLOVERS hula hoops for Summer 08 but they also got together, donned their sparkliest frocks and got hoopy for a no less than freakin fabulous hoop photo shoot. The results, I know you will agree, are outstanding and have received wild applause, standing ovations and giggling glee from the hoop lovers here in Tokyo.
So I present you with the HOOPLOVERS Summer of Love 08 Hoops, handcrafted by Bunny Hoop Star in Sydney Australia and now (YAY!) available right here in Tokyo for all hoop loving hipsters to enjoy. (Excuse me while I do a lil jig splashing glitter here and there, it happens every time I look over at the hoop jewels that Bunny created for Tokyo!!)
